Seminar on taxing and borrowing powers for the devolved administrations

Gillian Bristow of Cardiff University has organised, through the University’s Wales Governance Centre, a series of seminars on aspects of devolution finance.  The next will take place at 4 pm on Thursday 13 May, in the Council Chamber of the Glamorgan Building. on the subject of taxing and borrowing powers for the devolved administrations (a more contentious issue in Wales than in Scotland).   The main speakers will be David Heald from Aberdeen University and Cesar Colino of UNED (the Spanish version of the Open University), and an expert on the working of the system of autonomy in Spain.  I’m acting as discussant.

To register to attend, email cllc@caerdydd.ac.uk or wgc@cardiff.ac.uk
